Job Summary:To install, repair, maintain, program and service telecommunications systems and equipment in a competent and skilled manner at
Qualifications:Must have associates degree or equivalent work experience of at least four years in Communications related field or equivalent experience.At least one year of experience in maintaining and repairing communication equipment in a large facility, such as telephones, telephone lines, and accessories as well as experience with Call-Pilot voice mail, ACD systems, SIP's, PRI's, Metro E connectivity. Understand audio/visual installation and broadband systems as it relates to cable TV signals. Capable of installing category 5E or above cabling and/or copper and fiber optic as necessary. Must be reliable and use experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals and perform a variety of complicated tasks. Be available for on call/weekend work. The following certifications are desirable; Rauland-Borg Nurse call Technician Certification, Spectra link Installer/Maintainer Certification. Any Avaya/Nortel support specialist certifications a plus.
